Ir. Muhammad Ridha Adhari, S.T., M.Sc.
Tentang Saya (About Me)

Muhammad Ridha Adhari is an experienced research and development specialist with a proven track record in the petroleum industry. He is skilled in hydrocarbon exploration, conventional and unconventional reservoir characterisation, and sedimentary basin analysis. Adhari has a strong research professional focusing on the characterisation of the mixed carbonate-siliciclastic reservoirs from tectonically active settings. He holds a bachelor degree in Geophysical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. In 2012, Adhari was awarded a scholarship by the Government of Aceh to study master degree in Applied Geology at Curtin University of Technology, Australia. He received a full scholarship (2018-2022) from Australia Awards to study PhD at UWA, Perth, Western Australia.
Adhari joined Universitas Syiah Kuala in January 2014 as a lecturer at the Department of Geological Engineering. During his academic career, Adhari has succesfully won numerous prestigious scholarships, top-up scholarships, research grants, and awards from international and national oil and gas companies, professional organisations, and the governments (in total > $500000, since 2012). Adhari has presented (Oral/Poster) some results of his research at international conferences such as Australia-Asia Exploration Geoscience Conference, Geological Society of Australia Symposium, Australia Basin Workshop, and Australia Earth Sciences Conference. He has also published several academic articles related to Geology.
Adhari is actively involved in international professional organisation including American Association of Petroleum Geologists, International Association of Sedimentologists, and Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia. Adhari has more than 5 years of international experiences working with professionals from various backgrounds in multi-national and multi-cultural workplaces. His teaching and research areas include: Petroleum Geology, Basin Analysis, Reservoir Characterisation, Formation Evaluation, Sedimentology, Stratigraphy, and Structural Geology.
