Dewi was born in Meulaboh on June 1989, and finished Senior High School in 2007. In 2011, she completed an undergraduate study in Geological Engineering, Diponegoro University with a focus on Geotechnical investigation capacity of the soil.

After graduated, She worked in Mining Service Company as a Geologist Engineer with a specialization in nickel project exploration and exploitation (Determine the drilling points, Sample description cutting and core; Make log lithology; Control stripping and mining ore; Calculation reserve).

With all her passion in Geological Engineering, She continues her studies at Gadjah Mada Univeristy and she got a Master's degree in 2015. The topic of the research she took for her master's program was about the groundwater vulnerability of pollution. Since January 2018, She was hired as a lecturer of the Geological Engineering Department in Syiah Kuala University, Indonesia. She always has interested to involved in environmental geology researches (specially Hydrogeology).
