Tentang Saya (About Me)

I obtained my Bachelor's degree from National University of Malaysia. My undergraduate thesis was about climate change and air-sea interaction, probed with statistical methods. As learning is one of my lifelong passions, I decided to pursue higher education. In 2016, I graduated from Institut Teknologi Bandung and received my Master's degree, majoring in Earth Science. Some of my areas of interests include computational fluid dynamics, numerical modelling and signal processing. Before working as lecturer, I was involved in a project initiated by the government called Strategi Nasional 2014 (Ristekdikti). The focus of our group was to assess the vulnerabilty of coastal environment to hazards caused by sea-level rise. Several journals have been published as the output. I was able to present my paper as well on 12th PORSEC 2014, a biannual conference on remote sensing, which was held in Bali at that time. Recently, I was appointed as one of the national consultants for United Nations Economic and Social Commision for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP). Our current project aims to analyze the sea level rise and its implications to social welfare in Asia-Pacific region.
