Tentang Saya (About Me)

Born in Glumpang Minyeuk, Pidie, Aceh in 1961, completed primary school (MIN) and Junior High School (SMP) in Glumpang Minyeuk and  High School in Beureunuen. Completed undergraduate in Department  of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Syiah Kuala University. Master's Degree Program at Materials Science and Engineering of Institute Technology Bandung in 1996. Furthermore, He completed his PhD program in Mechanical and Material Department, Faculty of Engineering and Bulit Environment, National University of Malaysia with Ph.D. Currently serving as a lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering - Faculty of Engineering  of Syiah Kuala University  and now as Head of the Laboratory of Materials Engineering at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Syiah Kuala University. Conducting research related to both material processing (materials composite)  and material characterization including failure analysis which includes metal, composite, polymer and ceramics. In addition to conducting research based on scientific studies, together with a team of materials engineering laboratories are also involved in some technical problem solving (Remaining Life Assessment) activities in the industry in Aceh. Becoming a caregiver in Materials Engineering, Physical Metallurgy, Material and Process Selection, Metal Forming, Composite Materials, Polymer Materials and Processing, Welding Technique, Metallography and Spectroscopy. In the S2 Program teach Composite Materials and Failure Analysis.
