Dr. Abdullah, M. Si was born in Bayu on February 5, 1974. The elementary school was completed in SD Beunot Bayu in 1987 and graduated from SMP Negeri 1 Bayu in 1990 and SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe in 1993. In 1998, I graduated from Bachelor of Education in the field of Biology Education in Biology Education Department of  Teacher Training and Education Faculty of  University of Syiah Kuala in Banda Aceh.  I have been a lecturer in Biology Education Department since 1999. In addition, I finished master and doctorate programs at Department of Biology SITH ITB Bandung in 2003 and 2009 respectivelly. My field study is the Animal Ecology and Biology of Wildlife Conservation and focused research is the issue of wildlife conservation and its habitat in Sumatran Tropical Rain Forest. There have been several studies and collaboration researches have been done; 1) Estimation of habitat capacity of Sumatran Elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus Temminck) in Tessonilo Forest, 2) Riau Province in collaboration with Word Wild Fund(2002), 3) Habitat Use Strategy by Sumatran Elephant (Elephas maximus sumatranus Temminck) in Province Forest Aceh (2008), 4) Behavior and daily activities of Primata (2013), 4) Use of predatory bird pest biological control (2012-2013), 5) research collaboration with Bournemoth University ((2016-2017), 6) Research Collaboration with International Elephant Foundation (2017), 7) Collaboration research with University Sain Malaysia (Prof. Dr. Mashur Manshur), 8) cooperation and official consultants at the Sumatra-Aceh Elephant Foundation, 9) WWF Indonesia-Riau (2002), 10) FFI Indonesia-Aceh Program (2008-2010), and 10) Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA). The development of the Biology research profession has also been developed through the Indonesian Society of Biology Association (PBI) since 2010 to present (as the Secretary of PBI Aceh). 11. Research collaboration with Southern Illinois University for Research of Siamang vocalization (2017). I am also a Member of the Indonesian Post-graduate Leadership Forum (FORPIMPAS). From 2011 to 2015, I was a Chairman of the Master of Biology Education Program Post Graduate Program of Syiah Kuala University. Moreover, I have been Head of Biology Education  Department of Syiah Kuala University Gayo Lues in Programme of Department Ouside Main Campus (PSDKU).
