Tentang Saya (About Me)
I became nominee of civil servant in Unsyiah as an assistant prof. Dr. Gunawan, MS in 1997. I got the opportunity to continue my study at IPB and completed my magister and doctoral at the Major of Livestock Science in the field of Animal Breeding/Livestock in 2000 to 2008. Research on Aceh cattle was long enough to complete my doctoral program because the result of DNA sequence D-loop that I got is always partial. Finally the research can be completed with microsatellite DNA in laboratory Prof. Dr. GöranAndersson, PhD of the Molecular and Genetics Laboratory, Uppsala Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in 2007. The research is on the cooperation of Prof. Dr. Ir. Ronny Rachman Noor, M.Rur.Sc with Prof. Heriberto Rodriguez-Martinez, Ph.D as the funders. The idea of research on Aceh cattle emerged after seeing them not been noticed by the government of Aceh. Furthermore, several studies on Aceh cattle have been published. Research on Aceh breed is still my main concern until now.
