Since the integration of SPG/SGO into universities in 1990, most SPG/SGO teachers who met the requirements set by the government, specifically by the Directorate General of Higher Education (Dikti), were appointed as lecturers in universities, particularly in the Faculty of Teacher Education at Syiah Kuala University. I am one of the lecturers who fulfilled these requirements. At that time, I observed that the teaching methods used in SPG/SGO high schools (teacher education programs) differed significantly from the learning processes in higher education institutions, such as the Faculty of Teacher Education at Syiah Kuala University.

Dr. Ahadin, M.Ed. was born in Southeast Aceh on September 18, 1960. In 1980, he pursued his undergraduate studies at IKIP Medan, graduating in 1985. In 1994, he had the opportunity to pursue a Master's degree at the University of Houston, graduating in 1996. In 2005, he continued his doctoral studies at Jakarta State University, completing them in 2009.

Dr. Ahadin has been involved in various research and professional activities, including:

1. The relationship between policy and achievement (2010).


2. The development of fundamental movements in kindergarten children (2010).


3. Research on normal body weight (2011).


4. The development of motor skills (2011).


5. The fitness of physical education teachers in Aceh (2012).


6. The application of the play method in learning (2012).

On April 1, 2015, he was appointed as Chancellor of Gunung Leuser University in Aceh for the 2015–2019 period. On April 15, 2019, after completing his tenure as Chancellor, he returned to the Faculty of Education at Syiah Kuala University as a lecturer.
