Professional Summary
M. Ali S (Muhammad Ali Sarong) is a lecture of Biology Education major in Education Faculty, Unsyiah, appointed since March 1, 1986. He was graduated from Elementary School Leupung, Aceh Besar District in 1972. The Junior High School was taken in Junior High School Leupung affiliate with Junior High School 3, Banda Aceh and graduated in 1975. He was graduated from Samalanga Senior High School, Aceh Utara District (Bireun District) in 1979. In 1984 he was graduated from Biology Education major, Education Faculty, Unsyiah, Darussalam Banda Aceh. In 1997 he finished his study from Natural Resource and Environmental Management Study Program (PSL), Sumatera Utara University Master Program, Medan and in 2010 he finished his Doctoral Program at the Coastal and Marine Resources Study Program (SPL) Bogor Agricultural University. From 1989 until 1995 was assigned as Head of Biology Education Laboratory FKIP Unsyiah Darussalam Banda Aceh. Since 2011, was assigned as Secretary of Master Program of Biology Education, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam Banda Aceh. Since February 1, 2015, was appointed as Professor of Invertebrate Zoology at Education Program Unsyiah Darussalam Banda Aceh by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Jakarta and appointed by the rector of Syiah Kuala University and confirmed by Rector Unsyiah at Dayan Dawood Building, Darussalam Banda Aceh on June 12, 2015. In June 2015 was inaugurated as Head of Master Program of Biology Education Graduate Program of Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam Banda Aceh. The awards that have been obtained are (1) Lecturer of Achievement in Postgraduate Program of Syiah Kuala University Year 2015, and (2) Achievement Lecturer 3 Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam Banda Aceh Year 2015. I am one of the professors of invertebrate zoology at Syiah Kuala University and now serves as chairman of Biology Education Master Program. Since January 28, 2019 I was appointed as a Dean in the faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences at Universitas Teuku Umar, Meulaboh, in West Aceh. Even though I had been a Dean at FPIK UTU, but iam still doing my main obligation at universitas Syiah Kuala especially as a lecturer for teaching and Guiding students, and also for doing Research".
