I was born in Idi, East Aceh May 3, 1961. Elementary to high school education were all graduated in Idi, East Aceh. Graduated from elementary school in 1973, graduated from junior high school in 1976 and graduated from high school in 1980 (when there was an additional 6-month curriculum). In 1980 I was also accepted as a student at the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry (FKHP) of the Syiah Kuala University Darussalam Banda Aceh and graduated in 1984. In 1986 I was appointed as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Unsyiah and continued my Masters studies in Food Science at the Bogor Post Graduate School in Bogor 1990 and graduated in 1993. I studied Japanese language courses at IPB Bogor and pursue further study to take S3 degree in Food Biotechnology to Tohoku University Sendai Japan in 1996 and graduated in 1999. After returning to Indonesia in 2000, he continued various research activities and community service and various publications of research results in both National and International journals. In 2008, the President of the Republic of Indonesia SBY awarded the Professor in the field of FOOD BIOTECHNOLOGY.
