Professional Summary
Abdul Munir was born in North Aceh on July 8, 1972. He completed undergraduate program in 1997 at Civil Engineering Department of Syiah Kuala University in the field of building structure. In 1998, He was appointed as Lecturer in the Department of Architecture. In the year 2002 - 2004 he studied at Postgraduate Program in Architecture Department of Building Technology in ITB Bandung. In 2008, he completed his doctoral degree at Kobe University, Japan with concentration field of Architectural Environmental Engineering. He currently serves as Head of the Science Laboratory of Architecture. The research focuses on thermal comfort, energy saving of buildings and sustainable building materials.
