My bachelor degree is from the Mechanical Engineering Department at Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) with a concentration in Energy Convertion Engineering. Under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Ilham Maulana, I completed my thesis about optimizing water turbine design and graduated in 2012. It used a simulation approach to get the optimal design of the turbine. In 2013, I got a scholarship from the Ministry of Research and Higher Education for the Young Lecturer program and obtained a master's degree from the Industrial and Management Engineering department at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) with a research topic about mathematical modeling and algorithm development for the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) under the supervision of Suprayogi, Ph.D. After completing my master's degree, I joined the Industrial Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Syiah Kuala, as a non-public servant lecturer in 2016 and became a public servant in 2019. The courses taught by me in the department are industrial simulation, operational research, and supply chain management. I am interested in the research field of modeling, simulation, and optimization of industrial systems, especially for production systems, logistics, and supply chain management. I have published my research articles in both national and international conferences and journals. To support my career, I have been a member of the Institut Supply Chain and Logistic Indonesia (ISLI) since 2017 and the Indonesian Association of Pattern Recognition (INAPR) since 2018. Currently, I am a PhD candidate in Industrial and System Engineering (ISE) at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) after passing comprehensive exams. Four courses are examined in the exams: ISE 502 (Probabilistic Modeling in ISE), ISE 503 (Linear Programming and Applications), ISE 508 (Production Systems and Inventory Control), and ISE 521 (Nonlinear Programming and Applications). To complete my PhD in 2025, I am working on a dissertation focused on resilience and optimization under the supervision of Dr. Yasser Almoghathawi.
