Novita Sari was born in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. She finished her bachelor degree from Psychology Department at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta, Indonesia in 2009. In 2010, she started working for Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh, Indonesia as contract lecturer. She continued her Master of Psychology-Profession with concentration in Clinical Psychology at Gadjah Mada University in 2012. She became PNS lecturer at Syiah Kuala University in 2019. The areas of research being conducted are applied clinical psychology, family therapy, and psychological wellbeing in adolescence and adult. Not only is she a lecturer, but she is a professional psychologist as well who direct her activities for helping individuals, couples, families, and groups in a variety of settings and offering professional services.
