Professional Summary

I was born in Banda Aceh, August 20th, 1973. Graduated from the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering Syiah Kuala University Banda Aceh in 1997. In 2004, I completed my Master Program in Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB), with the concentration of Water Resources Engineering. Then in 2008, I obtained my Ph.d also from ITB Bandung, with the same concentration.


Since 1998, I started my career as a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh - Indonesia. My specialization is in Hydro technical fields, with Hydraulics courses, Fluid Mechanics, Irrigation and Water Building, Water Power Building, Water Resources Development. Besides being a lecturer, I also actively involved in some research. A joint research with Toyohashi University, Japan, has been conducted in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). I also involved in consultancy, design and project in hydro technic area and water resources management as well.
