Professional Summary
I have joined Syiah Kuala University as lecturer and researcher since 1997 at Chemistry Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. I finished my PhD study in 2012 at Faculty of Chemistry, Georg-August University of Goettingen Germany. Research of interests in my group cover: 1) Secondary metabolites from medicinal plants in Aceh and Indonesia zones; 2) Natural bioactive compounds or antibiotics from microorganism and endophytes against bacteria, fungi and/or algae; and 3) Partial organic synthesis from natural products. Currently, I am members of Himpunan Kimia Indonesia (Indonesian Chemical Society) and the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). Reviewer in some Scientific Journals e.g. Jurnal Natural FMIPA USK, Current Research on Biosciences and Biotechnology (CRBB) ITB, Jurnal Riset Kimia UNAND, Makara Journal of Science Universitas Indonesia, Alchemy Jurnal Penelitian Kimia UNS and AIJST PPS USK.
