Professional Summary
Eka Safitri received her B.Sc in Chemistry from Syiah Kuala University (USK), Indonesia and obtained master degree from Institute Teknologi Bandung (ITB) Indonesia. She finished Ph.D from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and focused on developing enzyme and DNA biosensors. She is now a lecturer at the Chemistry Department, Faculty Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Syiah Kuala University. Her research interest focus on synthesis new nano scale materials to develop chemical sensor and biosensor based on optical and electrochemical measurement. These materials will be utilized as matrices to immobilize biomolecules such as enzyme, DNA, hormon and antibody.
