Edy Marsudi was born in Ullee Gle, 24 Mai 1963. Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in the Department of Agricultural Socio-Economic Faculty of Agriculture Unsyiah. In 1990, Edy Marsudi was appointed lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture of Syiah Kuala University and completed his studies at the Bogor Agricultural University Postgraduate Program (IPB) with a concentration on regional and rural development planning. In the Years 2004-2008 became Director of Extension at the Faculty of Agriculture Unsyiah, in the Years 2008-2012 as head of the statistics laboratory, 2012-2016 Year was appointed Vice Dean III Agriculture Faculty of Unsyiah. In the Year 2016, Edy Marsudi was promoted to director of the Diploma Program, and since 2017 now has been Head of the Laboratory for Community Development and Rural Areas at the Faculty of Agriculture Unsyiah. Since 2002 became the Coordinator of Regional Development Planning, Economics of Agricultural, and Economics of Watering at the agribusiness study program at the Faculty of Agriculture Unsyiah.
