Elizar received the S.T. degrees from Syiah Kuala University of Aceh, Indonesia. He then received the M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees both from The University of York, York, UK, all in Electronics. He began his teaching experience as junior lecturer in Electrical Engineering Department, Engineering Faculty, Syiah Kuala University from 2002 and still serve as lecturer in the same department until now. His research interest are on the area of Wireless Communication especially in Spectrum Management, Cognitive Radio and Cooperative Communication. He also have interest in Vehicle to vehicle communication and vehicle traffic simulation. He had published some articles both in national and international seminars all in his area of interest.
