Dr. Hafnati Rahmatan, M.Si
Professional Summary
My name is Dr. Hafnati Rahmatan, M.Si. I was born in Banda Aceh on August 23, 1968. My address at Kaswari street number 12, Kp. Keuramat, Kec. Kuta Alam, Banda Aceh. All my primary and secondary education completed in Banda Aceh, starting form SD Negeri 28 Banda Aceh (1975-1981), SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh (1981-1984), SMA Negeri 3 Banda Aceh (1984-1987). In 1987, I entered the Universitas Syiah Kuala (Unsyiah) at Darussalam, Banda Aceh, in the Department of Biology Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP). In 1993, I was accepted as a lecturer in the Department of Biology Education, FKIP Unsyiah. In 1994, I had the opportunity to continue my Pre-S2 education at the Department of Biology of Bandung Institut of Technology (ITB) and to continue my S2 in 1995 in the same department. In 1998, I obtained a degree in Master of Science in Plant Physiology. Thus, I pursued my doctoral program at the University of Education Indonesia (UPI) Bandung, West Java in 2009 and completed in 2013. The field of study I took while doing my doctoral was Education of Science, especially the development of science learning proses. Since completing S3 education, I have returned serving as a lecturer in the FKIP Unsyiah at Biology Education department. I was assigned as a secretary of the Biology Education Program in 2007-2009 and 2013-2017. Besides, since 2013, I also actively developed science learning strategies at both university level and primary/secondary education. The results of the development have been disseminated to faculty members within FKIP and science teachers.
