Hendrix Indra Kusuma, S.Pd.I., M.Si., Gr., is a dedicated academic specializing in biology, currently serving as a lecturer in the Biology Department at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK). He embarked on his academic journey by earning his bachelor's in Biology Education from FITK UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. His undergraduate thesis focused on innovative methods for controlling BLAST disease in Inpari 15 rice plants through bacterial application.

Pursuing further specialization, Hendrix completed his master's degree in biology at FMIPA USK. His master's thesis involved the intricate work of identifying macrofungi from the Tahura Pocut Meurah Intan, Saree, Aceh Besar, using both morphological analysis and DNA barcoding techniques. This research not only showcased his ability to blend traditional and modern scientific methods but also contributed valuable insights to the field of mycology.

Upon completing his professional teacher education at USK, Hendrix decided to focus his expertise on wildlife biology. His work in this field includes studying the behavior, conservation, and ecological impact of large animals. Hendrix's commitment to wildlife conservation and his extensive knowledge make him a respected figure in the academic community. His contributions are significant in fostering a deeper understanding of biodiversity and the importance of preserving natural habitats.
