Prof. Dr. Ir. Husaini, M.Sc, is a permanent faculty member at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Syiah Kuala University (UNSYIAH) since 1988. Expertise: 1). Fracture Mechanics and Strength of Materials, 2). Failure Analysis, 3). Computational Mechanics. Born in Geulumpang Minyeuk, August 8, 1961, the first child of 4 siblings. Appointed in the Professorship on June 1, 2004 (at 42 Years). The last rank of the Principal Leader (Pembina Utama, Gol. IV / E), since April 1, 2015 (at age 53). He is the first Professor at Engineering Faculty of Syiah Kuala University . Marital status already married with wife, Dra. Badriah (Housewife), and Child, 1). Muhammad Yureza Husaini (22, civil servants at the mayor's office of Banda Aceh, 2). Faiz Akbar Husaini (13 Years old, Student at MsN Model Banda Aceh). Prof Husaini followsPublic Elementary School in Glp. Minyeuk and Graduated in 1973, then proceeded to the State Technical School PG Cot Girek, Electrical Engineering Department, in Cot Girek and Ended in 1976. Then went to State Technical School I (STMN I) Banda Aceh in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Graduation Year 1980 with the title of General Champion.

Then continue his study at the Department of Mechanical Engineering (S1), Faculty of Engineering, UNSYIAH. In 1983 he obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (BSc), and a Bachelor Degree with an Engineer Degree (Ir) was obtained in 1987 with the Final Project Title: "Steam Turbine Design for Gas Feed Compressor Feed".

Then, with a scholarship from Japan's HEDS-JICA program, he continued his studies to Master's Degree Program in Mechanical Engineering (S2) at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in 1991 and completed in 1993 with a Thesis; "Measurement of Stress Intensity Factor Initial and Dynamic Cracks by Using Strain Gage". In 1994, he condcuted a research with scholarship from JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), namely; Research Study in Mechanical Engineering at the Tokyo Institue of Technology (TIT) for 6 months. Then in 1995 he went on to study Doctoral Program (S3) in Engineering Materials and Fracture Mechanics for Production, at the Department of Mechanical Engineering for Production, Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology (TIT), Tokyo, Japan , with a Dissertation entitled: "Study on Fracture Behavior of ABS Resin and PC / ABS Blends Under Mode I and Mixed Loading Mode", and completed in 1998 with Doctor of Engineering (Dr. Eng.).
