Born in Bireuen June 7th, 1978 and become lecturer at Departement of Marine Science, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh since 2006. He graduated from Dept. of Physics Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) in 2000 with research focus on Physical Oceanography and Ocean Modelling. He gets a master degree in Oceanography and Atmospheric Science from Institute of Technology, Bandung (ITB) in 2005 working on sediment transport modelling for his master theses. Then he hold a doctoral degree in Mathematics and Applied Sciences from Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) in 2023 and Profession of Engineer in Earth Engineering (Marine and Fisheries) from Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) in 2024. His research interest in the field of Physical Oceanography/Ocean Modelling (i.e., tides and tidal current, sediment transport, marine and freshwater fisheries, etc). He is actively in seminar as speaker and published papers at national and international journals as author and co-author. Currently, he is an Associate Professor since 2014 and also work for Depik national journal as editor in chief. Besides, he is a part-time evaluator for environmental impact assessment proposal at local government of Environment and Forestry Service (DLHK ACEH). He is also work for Laboratory of Oceanography Modelling since 2015 and Laboratory of Marine Acoustics and Instrumentation since 2023. He was once a project manager/coordinator Tsunami Database Training NR: SDC-C-70016 between DHV BV and TDMRC USK (4th December 2007 - 12th December 2008)
