Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Ilham Maulana, S.Si. is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Syiah Kuala. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the same faculty in 1997, graduating with honors (cum laude). In 2001, he was awarded a prestigious scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to pursue graduate studies at the University of Leipzig, Germany. He successfully completed his doctoral program in 2005 with the distinction magna cum laude. Following the completion of his doctoral degree, he undertook postdoctoral research at The Australian National University, Canberra, Australia. His primary research interests lie in the field of transition metal complex chemistry.
