Ilyas, was born in Meureudu on 5 April 1965. S1 completed at Faculty of Law Unsyiah in 1990. Became a lecturer at Faculty of Law Unsyiah in 1991. History of Primary School Elementary School 13 Banda Aceh 1977, SMP Negeri 3 Banda Banda Aceh (1981) , SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh (1984), Completed Magister Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2000 and PhD at Syiah Kuala University in 2018. Ever been official secretary of elementary law at Law Faculty Syiah Kuala University, be secretary of extension graduate program, be head of nonreguler program. and also head of the civil law departement. And now as a teacher of graduate (S1), Magister Program (S2) and PhD Program (S3) at Law Faculty Unsyiah.
