Irvanizam Irvanizam a.k.a Irvanizam Zamanhuri is an associate professor at the Department of Informatics, Universitas Syiah Kuala, where he was Vice-Head of the department from 2014-2022. From 2011 to 2014, he was a Lab. Coordinator at the laboratory of Database and Data Mining. He obtained a PhD degree in Computer Science from Universitas Sumatera Utara (2025), Medan, Indonesia, under supervision of Prof. Drs. Mahyuddin K. M. Nasution, M.IT, PhD, and co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Tulus, Vor.Dipl.Math., M.Si, Ph.D and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erna Budhiarti Nababan, M.IT. He received a MSc degree in Computer Science from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (2010), Italy, under supervision of Prof. Dr. Michael Boehlen and a BSc degree in Mathematics Science from Universitas Syiah Kuala (2002) under supervison of Dipl-Ing. Hans Juergen Beling, M.Sc. His current research interests include soft computing, neutrosophic sets and its applications, decision support system, fuzzy sets and its application, multiple-attribute group decision making, multiple-criteria decision making and information systems. He is also author of publications in international journals and conference proceedings, many of which are indexed by Scopus and Web of Science (Expert Systems with Applications, IEEE Access, Journal of Supercomputing, Applied Computational Intelligence and Soft Computing, Journal of Multidisciplinary Healthcare, Axioms, Advances in Fuzzy Systems, International Journal of Computing and Digital System, Heliyon, IREMOS, Journal of Engineering Science and Technology, IEEE Cyberneticscom, ICIC, ICELTICs, CITSM, ICITEE, VLDB, and ICAITI, and according to Scopus, has H-index 19, Web of Science, has H-index 9, and Google Scholar, has H-index 23.
