Professional Summary
I graduated for Sarjana Degree (S1) from the Engineering Physics Department at the Institut Teknologi 10 Nopember Surabaya in 1987. After that, I jointed Syiah Kuala University as a young lecture in the Chemical Engineering Department, faculty of engineering. In September 1990, I departed for the USA to continue master degree. I got a Master's degree in 1993majoring in Physics at the University of Tennessee USA. Right after getting a master's degree, I continued forPh.D. degree. I did research on surface physics at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I graduated for Ph. D. degree in 1999 majoring in Physics at the University of Tennessee USA. My focused research is on surface physics or material physics.
