Former Vice Dean of External Affairs (2013-2017). Born in Medan, Oct 9, 1971. He has married Nur Elvi Sarah, SE., Ak and has three children, Rahmi Atika Sarah (20), Ahmad Haris (18), and Ahmad Zaky (11).  The fifth son of Sugono Ahmad Sayuti and Rosida previously want to be a businessman as his father did. This is the reason why he took Management as his major at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Syiah Kuala University in 1991. After graduation at the beginning of 1996, he worked as a finance manager in a private company in Medan. In 1997, he received a scholarship from the DUE Project of Dikti - World Bank to take Master of Management at Unsyiah. Following the scholarship, he has to sign a contract and become a lecturer starting from March 1999 to now. In 2001, he received a USAID scholarship to enhance his skill and knowledge at Master Program in Public Policy at Andrew Young School of Public Policy Study, Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA. During tsunami reconstruction in Aceh (2005 - 2010), He served as a consultant for several donors and international organizations such as USAID,  The World Bank, BRR Aceh-Nias, UNDP, UNFAO, AusAID, and Save the Children. He received a Ph.D. Elite Scholarship from MOE of Taiwan in management at I-Shou University, Taiwan. I-Shou University is one of 200 top management programs in the world,  accredited by an international AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business).
