I was appointed as a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business of Syiah Kuala University on 1 April 2006 on the department of management. I earned by bachelor degree in Management from the Faculty of Economics and Business (formerly Faculty of Economics) of Syiah Kuala University in 2005. I earned my master’s degree in Investments from the University of Birmingham (United Kingdom) in 2008. I earned my doctoral degree from the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Management Information Systems of University of Regensburg (Germany) in 2016 with the dissertation titled “Corporate Governance and Firm Performance in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Indonesia.” My research interests are in the area of corporate governance and corporate finance.
