Professional Summary
Karima is currently a lecture in the Architecture Study Program at the Architecture and Planning Department, Faculty of Engineering, Syiah Kuala University (USK), Indonesia. She obtained bachelor’s degree in architecture at Syiah Kuala university in 2015. In 2020, she gained Master of Science in Architecture degree after pursuing her study at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan under the auspices of the Architectural History and Cultural Heritage Group. Her research focuses on several issues related to islamic architecture, sacred space for Chinese Muslims, history of architectural development, Acehnese architecture and cultural identity.
