dr. Lauhil Mahfudz, Sp.B(K)V was born on 10 December 1983 in Sigli, Aceh. He is the second son of a couple, Father's name is Ir. Gazali Puteh, former PNS of PUPR department Aceh regional office. The mother's name is Ummi Mardhiah. Lauhil has established several educational backgrounds, elementary school was taken at SDN no.93 Banda Aceh in 1990, and graduated in 1995. Junior high school at SMPN 1 Banda Aceh in 1995 and graduated in 1998. Senior high school was taken at SMUN 1 Banda Aceh in 1998, graduated in 2001. In 2001 He enrolled school of medicine at Universitas Siah Kuala, achieved his bachelor of medicine degree in 2005, after that he continued and finished his Medical Doctor degree from Universitas Syiah Kuala in 2008. being a general physician, he has a working background in clinics and hospitals around Aceh primarily working as a clinician,  some of them are Meuraxa General hospital and RSUDZA General hospital, working as an emergency ward physician, and also has experienced working at primary health care service at rural area of Aceh Jaya district in 2009 until 2010.



In July 2010, Lauhil continued his study in medicine, taking a major in General Surgery residency program at Universitas Gadjah Mada / dr. Sardjito General Hospital in Yogyakarta. after finished his 5 years of Surgery study in 2015. He has been working in the general surgery field for almost 3 years at several places in Flores NTT, South Kalimantan, and Aceh Jaya. and after that, He continues taking a subspecialization program in Surgery science, major in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Universitas Indonesia / RSCM in Jakarta for 2 years program, and in 2020 he achieved a subspecialization / Consultant degree. in 2019 he joined as PNS in Depdikbud department and placed at the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh.



As a consultant and clinician in the Vascular surgery field, He focuses on providing education for students and general surgery residents at RSUDZA hospital and FK Unsyiah, also providing service on vascular disease and management for the community. he is ambitious to develop vascular science and service in Aceh, the next programs will be about to establish more reliable vascular science for education and service. continuing study on Doctoral degree will be in shortlisting.
