I was born in Banda Aceh on July 28th 1982. I graduated my bachelor degree at Biology Department, Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty, Syiah Kuala University in 2004. I, then, continued my study (Master Degree Program) at Department of Land Conservation, Syiah Kuala University and graduated in 2008. After that, I continued my PhD program at Department of Biology, Bogor Agricultural Institute and graduate in 2017

I have been working as a lecturer at Biology Department, Syiah Kuala University since 2006. My main interest is Microbiology. As part of my duty, I was appointed as Head of Microbiology Laboratory in 2006-2013. Some of articles that I have published are:  1. The effect of Metharrizium anisopliae fungi on mortality of Aedes aegypti L. larvae, 2. Screening of antimicrobial producing strains isolated from the soil of grassland rhizosphere in Pocut Meurah Intan Forest Park, Seulawah, Aceh Besar, 3. Diversity of endophytic actinobacteria isolated from medicinal plants and their potency as pancreatic lipase inhibitor, and 4. Characterization of Ethanolic Extract of Streptomyces sp. as a Pancreatic Lipase Inhibitors Produced by Endophytic Streptomyces sp. AEBg12 .
