LUKMAN HAKIM was born in Banda Aceh on May 12, 1960. Elementary - high school education was undertaken in Banda Aceh. In 1979 he continued his studies at the Faculty of Agriculture of Syiah Kuala University Banda Aceh in the Department of Plant Pests and Diseases and obtained his Bachelor of Agriculture degree (engineer) in 1985. Received as a faculty member at the Faculty of Agriculture Unsyiah in 1986. Continuing his Master's Degree at the Graduate Faculty of the Institute Bogor Agriculture and graduated in 1992. In 1993 he resumed his studies in Doctoral Program at the Bogor Agricultural Institute and graduated in 1999. Teaching at the Syiah Kuala University Faculty of Agriculture in the Course of Fundamentals of Plant Protection, Plant Protection Technology, Research Methodology, Conservation of Biological Resources, Philosophy of Science, and Agricultural Microbiology. It is also actively involved in various scientific activities such as National and International workshops / seminars and also actively involved in research cooperation such as Dissemination Program with National Nuclear Energy Agency (BATAN), and cooperation with Prince of Songkla University, Thailand (2011).
