Mariana received B. Eng degree from Syiah Kuala University (Unsyiah), Banda Aceh in 1992. She finished her master degree at Institute Tchnology Bandung (ITB) in 1997 and doctoral degree from Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, Shizuoka University, Japan in 2004. She has been a lecture of Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Syiah Kuala University since 1993. Her research interests include separation process of solid - liquid - gas. Her Phd Thesis is Treatment of Flue Gas from Incinerators Using Dry and Wet Scrubber Systems.
