Professional Summary

Melly Novita was born in Meulaboh, Aceh Barat on 12 of july 1980. She finished elementary schooll and Junior High School in Meulaboh and continued Senior High School in Banda Aceh. Undergraduate study was completed in Agricultural Technology Production Program (THP) Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University in 2004. the following year, continued education of Master programme at Universiti Putra Malaysia in Horticulture and completed it in 2008. January 2005, she started as a lecturer at Agricultural Technology Production Program Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University. Research interests are postharvest technology, nanoemulsion, and nano composite packaging. Since 2017, she registered with a Doctoral programme in food science at IPB University.
