Tentang Saya (About Me)
Haiqal is the first son of Mr. Amiruddin bin Puteh and Mrs. Siti Safura binti M. Sarif. He was born on Weh Island - Sabang City - Aceh - Indonesia on August 12, 1979.
He graduated from elementary school at SD Pertiwi - Sabang City (1986-1992), then junior high school at SMP Negeri 1 Sabang (1992-1995). He attended high school at SMU Modal Bangsa Aceh (1995), then continued his education at SMU Negeri 1 Sabang (1996-1998) until he graduated.
He studied for a Bachelor of Architecture at Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta - Indonesia with a Bachelor of Engineering (S.T) degree (April 2003). Furthermore, in January 2015, he obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in the Postgraduate Architecture program, Department of Architecture and Planning, Gadjah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta - Indonesia.
Since joining IAI (Indonesian Architects Association) in 2015. The title of Ar. (Architect) was also obtained in 2023. The role as an Architect is also played well.
He started being a lecturer in USK Architecture since April 2006 until now. He also worked at BAPPEDA Sabang City in 2004. During the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Aceh after the tsunami. In 2005 - 2008 he was active in several national and international institutions including Oxfam Great Britain, British Red Cross, UN Habitat, LOGICA-AIPRD Australia and the Aceh-Nias Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Agency (BRR).
