A Professor at Department of Architecture and Planning, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. I have graduated from Surabaya Institute of Technology, hold a Bachelor's of Architecture (B. Arch.), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northrop University, Los Angeles, USA, a Master of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning (MLA) from The University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA, and a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from University of South Australia, Adelaide. I am a Professional Architect (Ar.), Landscape Architect and An Ecological Planner which is based on Ecologically Sustainable Development. I am interested in sports, music, travelling, and cullinary. As a Landscape Architect, I create a dynamic and dramatical feelings and design great places, as well as work with the built and natural environment to design urban parks, innovative spaces, improve environmental quality, health and wellbeing, and create thriving communities. My research interest are in: sustainable urban development, sustainable landscape, and urban disaster spatial planning as well as sustainable architecture. I am also interested in Land Use/Cover changes of regions in developing countries.
