Muhammad Ridwan (MD, MAppSc, FIHA) is a consultant cardiologist as well as an exercise physiologist. He has been working as a lecturer in Department of Physiology of Medical Faculty, Syiah Kuala University since 1999. He accomplished his masters degree in Exercise and Rehabilitation from Victoria University, Melbourne in 2005 right after Tsunami struck Aceh, with field interest of cardiorespiratory and metabolic exercise. This experience and skill  had encouraged him to pursue the next level of medical specialist training in cardiology at Airlangga University, Surabaya and acknowleded as cardiologist in early 2013. He is also assigned to work at Cardiology and Vascular Medicine Department of Zainoel Abidin Teaching Hospital Banda Aceh since then. Indonesian College of Cardiology has  acknowleded His work in fied of cardiac prevention and rehabilitation and granted his as a consultant cardiologist in 2014. He is the pioneer in developing Cardiac Rehabilitation program in Aceh.  It took about 4 years for him to prepare dan set up  this cardiac rehabilitation service to be available in Dr. Zainoel Abidin hospital. The service was lauched to public in August 2018. Apart from performing his clinical career, he still teach undergraduate medical student, and supervise intern doctors as well as cardiology residents. His principle is do your best while you can.
