Muhammad Abrar, S.E., M.Si was born on Agustus 2, 1977 in Dayah Kleng, Aceh, Indonesia. He is a graduate of Syiah Kuala University in 2000 and was appointed as a lecturer at the same university later in 2005. He is well-known as economics lecturer in Economics Development Department of Syiah Kuala University. In 2012, he obtained his master degree in Economics at Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh. Currently, he has been taking a Doctoral Program on Regional and Rural Development Planning at Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB). Abrar has twelve years’ experience in the field of Development Economics, with special interest in Regional Economics, Macro-economics, and Micro-economics. In addition to his Development Economics involvement, he is a part of numerous Economics fellows associations as Ikatan Sarjana Ekonomi Indonesia (ISEI), Ikatan Praktisi Ahli Demografi Indonesia (IPADI), and Perencana Pembangunan Wilayah dan Pedesaan (PWD). He has been actively participated in national and international seminars, conferences, and workshops throughout the years.
