Dr.rer.nat. Muhsin, MD, Internist finished PhD in Molecular Biomedicine (immuno-parasitology) in 2013 from Institute of Medical Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology, University Hospital Bonn - University of Bonn, Germany. The title of his dissertation was "Role of Interleukin-6 during infection with filarial nematode Litomosoides sigmodontis". He is focusing on Medical Immunology, Parasitology and Molecular Biomedicine mainly in nematode infections such as intestinal and tissue worms. He is an expert in lymphatic filariasis that is endemic in Province of Aceh, Indonesia. After finishing his post-doctoral year at Faculty of Medicine University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia in 2015, he started to serve as lecturer and researcher at Faculty of Medicine Syiah Kuala University and continues his study in lymphatic filariasis. He finished his residency in Internal Medicine in 2022 at Universitas Syiah Kuala and become an Internist since then. He serves in university hospital, private hospital as Vice Director for Medical Services and Internist as well as in private clinic. He is a member of Malaysian Society of Parasitology and Tropical Medicine (MSPTM), Indonesian Society of Internal Medicine, Indonesian Society of Allergy and Immunology and Indonesian Parasite Control Association (Persatuan Pemberantasan Penyakit Parasitik Indonesia, P4I).
