Tentang Saya (About Me)

Nasrul Arahman; Born in Tringgadeng, Pidie Jaya in October 1972. Completed primary and secondary education in Trienggadeng and Banda Aceh. Bachelor's degree was pursued in Chemical Engineering Department of Syiah Kuala University with the major about water and wastewater treatment. Magister program was conducted  at the Environmental Engineering Department of Institute of Technology Sepuluh Nopember (1999-2002). Thesis research topic is bout application of membrane technology for drinking water treatment process. The research about membrane technology was learned in detail and intensively since pursues of doctoral program at Chemical Engineering Department, Kobe University – Japan (2005-2008).  Various polymer materials are selected and modified with organic or inorganic material in order to obtain a high performance of membrane. The fabricated membranes are then applied for processing of water and wastewater,  for protein purification,  and so on.  Up to October of 2017, several research about membrane preparation and its application have been explored in various technique, and the results of the investigation was publish in reputable journal.
