Novi Reandy Sasmita completed a master degree (M.Sc) in Epidemiology from the Department of Epidemiology, Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand. He got a scholarship under the support of the Fogarty International Center of the National Institute of Health (NIH) [grant number D43TW009522]. He obtained a bachelor degree (S.Si) in the Computational Statistics field from the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Indonesia. Currently, he is a lecturer at the Department of Statistics, USK, and he is also a senior researcher at the Computational and Applied Statistics Research Group (CASRG) since 2010. He is a statistician who focuses on epidemiology, biostatistics, and environmental statistics.
