Tentang Saya (About Me)
I was born in Sabang on 29th November 1980. I did my bachelor in Marine Science and Technology Department at Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in 2003 and finished my master degree at International Studies in Aquatic Tropical Ecology (ISATEC) University of Bremen, Germany in 2008. In 2019, I finished my PhD program from School of Biological Sciences, University Sains Malaysia with the thesis title: DNA barcoding, phylogeography and population genetics of Epinephelids fishes in Indo-Malaya Archipelago. I joined Marine Science Department Faculty of Marine and Fisheries of Syiah Kuala University since 2003. I have a deep interest on coral reef biology, ecology, restoration and coral reef management in Aceh and Indonesia. Recently, I also focused my study on genetics, bio-reproduction and ecology of Epinephelids fishes.
