Nurhalis was bornon June 11, 1964 in Medan. She finished her Bachelor degree at Economics Faculty  of Syiah Kuala University majoring Management in 1988. She is a permanent lecturer in Management Department, Economic Faculty of Syiah Kuala University. She persued her study to master degree in Magister Management  of  Syiah Kuala and completed in 2009. Her field of study is finance management and teachs several subjects such as : Descriptive Economics Statistic, Inferential Economics Statistics, Quantitative Methode in Decision Making, Company Budgeting and Finance Math. She published articles in journal such as : The Influence of the Corporate Social Responsibility and Trading Volume Activity to Stock Prices, and The Influence of Good Corporate Governance and Company Performance toward Firm Value in Indonesia. She also condict public service for Acehnsse Community by providing financial management training collaborating with packagingand promotion for developing traditional product of Acehnesse community.
