Putri Nurul A’la was born in Banda Aceh on March 02, 1996. She is a Junior Lecturer at the Department of English Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Syiah Kuala. Her Bachelor's degree is in English Education, which she received in 2018 from Universitas Syiah Kuala. She completed her Master's in Interpreting and Translation Studies in 2021 from Monash University, Australia. Her supervisor was Assoc. Prof. Sharyn Graham Davies, a Director of Monash Herb Feith Engagement Centre. As for her career, she has taught English from elementary school to postgraduate-level courses. She is also a professional translator who can effectively communicate with individuals from various backgrounds. In this field of work, she successfully manages schedules and delivers the best results in a short amount of time. With extensive work experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, learning new things to stay competitive has become her habit. She is currently the translator for the Cakradonya Dental Journal. Her research interests are in the fields of translation, sociolinguistics, and literature.
