Rifqan achieved his bachelor degree in geophysics studies at physics department of Mathematical and Natural Sciences Faculty of Universitas Syiah Kuala in 2013. He was awarded scholarship by Aceh government in 2014 and continued his master degree at UPN Veteran University in Yogyakarta by completing geothermal research at Geological engineering department of Mineral Technology Faculty.
He start working at geological engineering department of Syiah Kuala University in 2019. His research studies focus on geothermal exploration, physical rock properties, and geophysics exploration.
He also experienced in thematic maps creating for several purposes such are disaster management and urban planning. After all, he is an angler
