I have been working as lecturer and teaching plant breeding and genetics, biotechnology in agriculture since 2018 at USK. Currently, I am interested in the exploration of the genetic diversity study of local plants in Aceh and the potential of various Non Timber Forest Products' of Aceh forests. I earned my PhD under the support from the Monbukagakusho G-to-G type and selected by the Japanese embassy in Jakarta in 2009. I did my PhD at the University of Tsukuba in the Plant Breeding and Genetics Department started in 2010 and finished it in 2013, in the area of biodiversity/ plant genetics of Amaranthus. I did my master study at the Tropical and International Agriculture Programs at the Georg August University, Germany under the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute from 2003-2005 and previously, I had studied my Bachelor in Bio-process Engineering Department at the Hochschule Hannover, Germany from 1998 until 2002. My professional backgrounds were working in an international donor organizations in the area of livelihoods from 2006 to 2009. I was awarded several fellowships, e.g.: the ASEAN S&T program in Biodiversity from the US-Embassy, DIES- German DAAD-BMZ in the ASEAN-Quality Assurance hosted by University of Potsdam in Berlin. I like networking especially related with higher education and research activities.
