Professional Summary
Sofyatuddin Karina was graduated from Chemistry Department, Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty, Syiah Kuala University, Indonesia in 2005. She finished her Master degree in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Bio organic Chemistry (2008) in La Rochelle University, France. Karina has been working in Marine Science Department, Syiah Kuala University since 2009 to present. She focus on research in natural products of chemistry, applied in fisheries (aquaculture). She has published some reputable journals (nasional and international). In 2014, she served as a head of the Integrated Laboratory of Marine and Fisheries Faculty. The in 2019, she was entrusted as a head of Laboratory of Marine Chemistry and Fisheries Biotechnology. Last, since January 2020 until now, she officially serves as the Head of Marine Science Department, Marine and Fisheries Faculty, Syiah Kuala University.
