Dr. SAFWAN. M. Eng. is a lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering. He completed his PhD in Architectural Design in 2015 and his Master's in Architecture in 2002, both from the Kyushu University of Japan. His Bachelor's degree is in Architecture Design and Planning, in which he received in 1995 from ITS (Institute Technology Sepuluh November), Surabaya Indonesia. His articles have appeared in reputable journals such as Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ) and Nasional Journal. She also acts as a reviewer to a number of national journals. His research interests in the field of Islamic Historical Architecture and Design.
