Tentang Saya (About Me)

I am an Assistant Profesor at the Department of Management,  School of Economics and Business. I obtained a bachelor degree in Management at Syiah  Kuala University in 2004, and a master degree in  Management and Policy in Higher Education at the University of Pittsburgh, the United States in 2010. This master degree has sharpened my knowledge and skills on how to implement management and business approaches in managing the competitive advantage of  higher education institutions. Moreover, since November 2016, I have been  studying for  Doctor of Business Administration degree at the  School of Management, University of Bath ( UK). I did doctoral courses for two years, and now I am focusing on managing brand images in higher education for my doctoral research. 



In addition, I have earned several training experiences in business management and leadership development at some elite business schools. For example, I did Organizational Behaviour; How to Manage People at IESE Business School (SPAIN) and  Sports Marketing at Northwestern University ( USA). I have taught several courses related to business and management since 2005. Some of them are management, marketing, salesmanship, business communication and organisational behaviour. I am concerned in the area of marketing and management research, particularly in managing higher education institution from perspective business and management approaches. I also have experiences working as a management consultant in crafting strategic plans and management improvement system at several institutions, both public and private sectors.
