Professional Summary

Syarizal Fonna completed undergraduate education of Material Engineering at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in 2002. Later, he continued his education for Master of Science Programme at the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The  study was completed in 2006. At the end of 2008, Syarizal Fonna joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Unsyiah as a lecturer. The doctoral qualification was completed by him in 2014, also from the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. His research fields are in the area of Computational Corrosion, Cathodic Protection, and Swarm Intelligence.
