Professional Summary

Prof. Ir. Sugianto, M.Sc, Ph.D. obtained his bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Agriculture of Syiah Kuala University in 1991, in the field of Soil Science, with a project on the Effect pH level of saline-soil for paddy rice.  He received a Postgraduate Diploma in 1996  from the School of Surveying and Land Information at Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia. At the same university in 1997  with his thesis on  Expert-system for Land Evaluation using Remote Sensing data and GIS for his Master's degree (MSc), and in 2006 completed his Ph.D. from the School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Science, The University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia for his research on Functional Data Analysis of  Hyperspectral Data for  Soil and Vegetation Analysis. His research interests are Soil Science, Applied  Remote Sensing Data for Soil dan vegetation, Hyperspectral image analysis,  Environment monitoring, Land Use Planning, and Geospatial Analysis.
